A quiet and contemplative practice. Yin helps you stretch and release the connective tissues in the body (tendons, ligaments and fascia) where we hold our stress, tension and past trauma whilst also teaching you how to calmly control the breath through the discomfort. Passive stretches are held for 3 - 5 minutes on each side and are kept low to the ground increasing blood flow, improving flexibility and lowering stress levels (cortisol.) Class ends with a deep relaxation. Open to all levels.
